The AllaprimA MuseuM is a part of art centre Saksala ArtRadius.
The museum is offering different kind of exhibitions the year round.
Artists, art organizations and special cultural groups can apply for an exhibition in the AllaprimA MuseuM.

Art centre Saksala ArtRadius is selecting artists for different periods the year round.

APPLICATION

The artist can send an application to mail@saksala.org with a cv and website address to attend the curator of Saksala ArtRadius on the artistic work.

After receiving the application the artist will be contacted as soon as possible with a decision about an exhibition.

After a positive decision and after the artist has accepted the conditions as published on this webpage at the moment of the acceptation the procedure for an exhibition can start.

CONDITIONS

GENERAL

1.1. The work is entailed property of the artist.

1.2. The exhibition will be within the policy of art centre Saksala ArtRadius.

1.3. The accepted agreement will be an annex to the final contract.

EXHIBITION

2.1. The artist delivers the works prepared and ready for the exhibition.

2.2. Art centre Saksala ArtRadius prepares and executes the exhibition independently.

2.3. The artist can assist in building the exhibition.

2.4. The artist send a list with titles, sizes (cm), used material/technique and underground, and selling price (including the charged commission by the art center of 30% + 22% VAT.

2.4.1. In consultation with the artist the art center keeps the right to change the selling price if it is not realistic.

PROMOTION

3.1. The artist makes related images and text, useful for promotion, website, and invitation, available for free.

3.2. The art center has the right to use the work for publicity and presentations.

3.3. The art center informs and invites the own contacts, press and art connections by email and/or mail.

3.4. The artist is free to send invitations to their own network.

3.5. The art center informs the public by posters on frequently visited places.

3.6. The art center publishes a webpage about the exhibition and/or the work of the artist.

3.7. The artist is free to use the publications for their own promotion and is free to publish it on the own website with the condition of a link to the related webpage(s).

COSTS/FEE

4.1 The fee for the rent of the exhibition rooms is 150€/month (incl. 22% VAT) per room or corridor.

4.1.1. The fee has to be paid in advanced at the latest 8 weeks before the exhibition starts.

4.1.2. There is no refund of the exhibition fee.

4.2. The rent of exhibition space outside is from 150-500€ (incl. 22% VAT) per month depending on the m², number of works, and facilities.

4.2.1. The fee has to be paid in advanced at the latest 8 weeks before the exhibition starts.

4.2.2. There is no refund of the exhibition fee.

4.3. The art center takes care of the costs for the opening, designing the invitation and/or poster and webpage, the email invitation sent by the art center, the printing of the posters, and a webpage of the exhibition.

4.3.1. The artist can order extra printed posters and invitations for the own promotion on payment for production and shipping.

SALES

5.1 Until the end of the exhibition period the sales rights of all the works in the exhibition and/or in stock are by the art centre.

5.1.1. The art center keeps the right to expand the sales rights period after the exhibition with a maximum of 3 (three) months for the works exhibited in the art center.

5.2. By selling the art works during the exhibition the art center will charge a commission of 30% of the sales price + 22% VAT.

5.3. The artist can conclude an agreement (consignment) with the art center about the period after the exhibition the work will be in consignment in the art center under the same sales right conditions.

5.3.1. The art center keeps the right to expand the sales rights period after the consignment period with a maximum of 3 (three) months for the works which were in consignment agreement.

LIABILITY

6.1. The artist takes care of and is responsible for the transport and the costs to and from the exhibition space.

6.2. The artist takes care of and is responsible for the condition of the works to be ready for the show.

6.3. The art center will insure the works during the exhibition on the conditions of the insurance company of the art center.

6.4. The art center is not responsible for damages which are related to the condition/construction of the art work(s).

6.5. The art center will do all what is within the bounds of possibility to promote the works but cannot guarantee that any work will be sold.

FINAL ARTICLES

7.1. The conditions and rules on this page remain as final valid and are used in difference of opinion.

7.2. Art centre Saksala ArtRadius keeps the right to change the conditions and rules without reason.

7.2.1. An agreement between the art center and the artist is based on the copy of the date the artist agrees with the condition.

7.3. Any controversies will be decided by a court of competent jurisdiction in the city of Mikkeli, according to the laws of Finland.
