My plan while there is to look and work around the subject matter of
the fur industry paying attention to fox farming. All my work looks at
the way humans interact with other animals but this will be the first
time that I will be looking at our ‘non-edible’ consumption relationship
to another species.
My time there will be broken down into the three main fields. Research,
Sculptural practice and illustration work. I will more than likely
conduct a fair amount of research before I arrive, as this will give me
more time for practical sculptural research and work production. My
illustration work would be culminating in the production of a small
book. I would also like to do some sort of activity that would involve
other people from the community I imagine these would be workshops of
some kind but it is hard to predict.
Towards the end of my time there I would have and exhibition.

I would focus on the production of sculpture work while at the
centre and the creation of a show. I would still work on illustrations
but these would more than likely not make it into a book form at this
stage. Saying I could achieve much more than this in a month may be a
bit to ambitious.
From the ideas I have floating around in my head at the moment, I may
either be doing a lot of casting or a lot of sowing work. So other than
possibly the use of a sowing machine, there should be no super
extravagant requirements needed.
