Art courses in art centre Saksala ArtRadius for different target groups. The atelier and workspaces are invting artists and guests to work. International art centre Saksala ArtRadius has spacious studios to work and live in. In the AllaprimA MuseuM are ongoing exhibitions with art, art education, history and arts and crafts. The artist-in-residence program of saksala ArtRadius is interesting for international artists In co-operation with the AllaprimA Foundation Saksala ArtRadius organizes an interesting art education program. For children is the children's forest a nice place to build and to play. The forest-Labyrinth has interesting art works on different places. The FOAM sculpture park has sculptures from comtemporary sculptors. The CHILDREN'S LABYRINTH is a fantastic place to play, discover and enjoy nature.

International art centre Saksala ArtRadius is situated on Europe's largest monolith in rural eastern Finland and is a place for artists and visitors interested in art and nature.

The center is an art community with an inviting ambiance for artists to stay, to work and to exchange experiences with colleagues and interact with visitors. The open work spaces are interesting areas to get a view on different kind of art productions.

It is an excellent place for every one to stay away from the hectic life in urban areas and to reflect on everyday life by getting energy through nature and art.

Visitors find all conditions for making art, playing with art, talking about art and enjoying nature and silence.
There are art courses, symposiums, artist-in-residence, exhibitions, forest labyrinth, museum, sculpture park to enjoy actively during a day, a week and even longer.

You are heartily welcome to be active with art and to reflect and retreat.

Saksala ArtRadius organizes different kind of events in summer and winter. Saksala ArtRadius is near lake Kyyvesi and Saimaa lake. Gallery AbOvo offers a various range of special arts and crafts gifts. Special arrangements for summer, Christmas, winter and autumn are offering self catering art holidays. It is possible to rent art for home or company. Ice fishing in winter is an exiting sport. The lake in winter offers a lot of space for skiing, and snow scootering. Special events in winter, like snow building, are part of the winter program of Saksala ArtRadius. Saksala ArtRadius is active in promoting the rural activities in the region. Fishing in summer is a restful sport.
