Jolanda Schouten makes programs and series of art
lessons for schools in the region of Almere. Important is to invite teachers
to use art in the regular program in the class and to build up professional
skills to be able to give useful art lessons.

An active and professional art education program is the fundament of the
development of artistic skills of young people. Creativity has to be
activated and challenged to be more than a decoration for some free time or
in difficult periods of one's life.
Children have the possibilities to look open to their environment, but
without any guidance they will loose this open mind.
