    In 2006 there were many different exhibitions and presentations
    The year has started with the recital from Anne-Mari Salo-Karlsson in the main room of the art centre.

    In May the Dutch organ player Adrie van der Padt has had given his second organ concert on the Walcker organ in the church of Haukivuori.

    An exhibition with the works of the artists from the first artist-in-residence period and a presentation of the CADRA group from Cameroon.
    The second symposium
    HOMO ERECTUS
    organized by Saksala ArtRadius had have different presentations during the period the sculptors were working.
    During three years the sculptures will a part of the FOAM sculpture park around the art centre.
    During summer holiday different activities for children were organized.

    At the end of August an old tradition of ending the summer season continues also with participating of Saksala ArtRadius.

    The idea of cooperation between different parts of the village of Haukivuori with several activities during one evening will continue with the kirppujen yö in the coming years.

    Different art and cultural activities will be shown and presented during these evening/night.
     
    During autumn and winter Jolanda Schouten has had an exhibition in the AllaprimA MuseuM.

    In the same time the results of the workshop she had have with the 7th class of the secondary school were presented in a room next to her own exhibition.

    Both exhibitions were a part of the art education exhibition 2006-2007
    The exhibition

    is created to show the importance of art education in the school program and build as an instructive view on a well-thought-out art education program.

    Every year the art centre will present another part of the AllaprimA collection, to show the results of a basic art program. 

    The first part of planning the LABYRINTH has taken place in September 2006 and after their stay the three artists has presented their plans for the LABYRINTH.


    The artist Sarawut Chutiwongpeti has presented his video during the Kampus FESTARI week from Mikpoli in Mikkeli

    Two exhibitions without a special invitation from
    WOO BOCK-LEE
    in summer and autumn 2006

    and
    Marja de Jong
    during autumn and winter
    The year was ending with a Christmas presentation in the whole building and a special Christmas room in the residency part of the art centre
