During the second month of the residence period, Marie Julie Jacquet
has started to build her own website. This process has taken a lot of
time and study about the best way to create a professional website.
After returning in France the website will be published on the internet.
As an artist with an open eye for what is going on in her environment
she developed her projects with the light box and started the
installation with light and the bars.
Most of the work for the light box was already done in the first month
and after organizing the work space the object was placed in the right
position.
The light with the concrete base is inspired by the materials she found
in and around the art centre. An unused big light and the pipes of a
typical Finnish drying rack.

The third installation she made in room I of the AllaprimA MuseuM is
based on the Finnish ice landscape. The idea has been inspirited by the
aluminum coated paper and the iron bar from the former laundry in the
basement. The papers is draped as a wall and continues over the floor
like the ice during the glacial period.
