On Thursday July 31 2008 there is the opening of the exhibition of
three artists.
JEAN-CHRISTOPHE PIETTE
The French artist Jean-Christophe Piette has been as an artist-in-residence
during June and July and in this period he was working on his painted drawings. He also made a wall painting in the corridor of the residence.
His works are inspired by the commercial prints of different packages
and by nature and culture in the surroundings he is staying. His visual
statements have different layers and it depends on one's own
references how it can be seen.

EVA HÄKKINEN
The jewelry artist Eva Häkkinen makes small sculptures in different
materials. She is fascinated by fish skin, birch bark but is also
working in silver and with different kind of stones. Her works are
fashionable jewelries but also objects to show on the wall.
Eva Häkkinen has had earlier exhibitions in the AllaprimA MuseuM. The
first one with the series about -NIIN
KAUNI ON MAA- in spring 2007 and a second one in summer 2007 -LUONNEN TAIKAVOIMA-
The show was also in St.
Petersburg in the winter of 2007-2008.

HETA KEKÄLÄINEN
Heta Kekäläinen makes jewelries in different materials and forms. Silver
and bronze are used to create series.
In autumn 2007 Heta Kekäläinen has had a
show with her jewelry art in the AllaprimA MuseuM.
