August 2005 the application
I will work on art works project entitled "Wishes, Lies and Dreams VII".
I would like invited children, peoples/artists and disabled persons for sharing
their Wishes/Dreams in my artwork project. Working in the art center together with some one who
can work with young people on a high artistic level will give a extra
inspiration to the whole project.
The period I am working depends on the budget but had to be minimal 6 months.
Than it is possible to be a part of the local area and share in the exchange
culture of the people living in it, so I can learn about and from them,
necessary to develop my own vision and my experiences. I will stay in art centre
Saksala ArtRadius in Haukivuori to create my artwork project in this part of
Finland and use is as a centre point with a historical meaning. During this
period different kind of people will visit and stay and can show the way contact
influence the world of people living in this area.
The final artwork will be a mix between found objects and DVD-installation that
will be a documentary film and fantasy film from Haukivuori and that is a part
of the total documentation I am realizing of all kind of places in the world.
The documentation is a continuing development of my project in which all parts
will influence each other permanent.
The human’s spirit in this area (village and surroundings of Haukivuori) shall
be a part of a global network by this documentation.

The Installation series of Untitled (Wishes, Lies and Dreams >> Heartsick On The Open Sea With Stars…)
January 2006 starting a cooperation with Mikkelin Polytechnic
Art centre Saksala ArtRadius and
Mikkeli Polytechnic have chosen the media art
project
"The Installation series of Untitled (Wishes, Lies and Dreams >> The Hero's &
Deathly Dreams...)
from Sarawut Chutiwongpeti to start and realize an interesting and experimental
cooperation between science and art with the result a media art production of
his project. He is already working for many years on different places in the
world on his project Untitled (Wishes, Lies and Dreams) and is showing all the
time new solutions for realizing his vision. This part of his project has now
new aspects. By giving him room to use sophisticated and experimental technology
and investigate it, his project will get new artistic levels which are important
for contemporary art.
The aim is to create a media art production in which technology, reality and
fantasy create a new vision and where the audience can be a part of the
production and presentation.
Therefore Sarawut Chutiwongpeti and the media specialists in Mikkeli Polytechnic
should be both engaged for some time working together in the media studios. This
co-operation could be a fresh start for a new kind of utilization of the
facilities and know-how in the media centre.
My main concern within this project is exploring our mind, unconscious and
interpretation levels of dreams as well as the possibility to understand psychic
intuition. The specifics of the realization of dreams emotions, thoughts,
imagination, sex drive actions and interactions of a dreamer raises the question
of the viewer and that simultaneity that makes our mind and spirit work together
with our brain to be understood.

artist-in-residence
I have already made some contribution to the development of media arts through
my artistic and research practice, and related international activity at the
Banff Centre for the Arts (Canada), Smithsonian Institution (ImaginAsia Project,
The Freer Gallery of Art and The Arthur M.Sackler Gallery, United States of
America), ZKM Project (Institute for Visual Media/Center for Art and Media,
Germany), Designskolen (Denmark), Fukuoka Asian Art Museum (Japan), Central
European University (Hungary) and Royal University College of Fine Arts
(Sweden).
"Men at some time are masters of their fates..., Take time while time is..., For
time will be away..."
I really like to travel to find out some thing "new" and gain "experiences". As
my traveling is a mean for creating, self discovery and impact on approaches,
investigate and my journey it always linked with inspiration and creativity.
When the door of art centre Saksala ArtRadius opens and welcomes me as guest
invited artist (First one), I am very delight for coming to Haukivuori in
Finland.
There are so many residencies in this world and different kind of environmental.
The Saksala ArtRadius center is a new emerging residency artist program in
Finland. Both artist and the art center have working hard together.
The Art Center's special one “silence place" and it is a place for people who
would like away from capital city. I could find my way how to enjoy myself
during the coldest winter season by practice the ski and at the same time, I
have been shooting the film and record my impression the urban landscape view
from Haukivuori, such as the stars, the moon, the sky (The color of the sky
during twilight zone quite so wonderful for me) and the snow.
At the Saksala ArtRadius, I am still working on new art works project entitled
"The Installation series of Untitled (Wishes, Lies and Dreams >> The Hero's &
Deathly Dreams..." and I am very interesting to investigate the expressive
possibilities of conceptual visual language and to develop collaborative new art
as part of both Contemporary Art/Contemporary Global Structure and the
Technological Civilization in which we live today.
March 19 2006 the exhibition
At the art centre Saksala
ArtRadius, I am still working on the new artwork project
“The Installation series of Untitled (Wishes, Lies and Dreams >> The Hero's & Deathly Dreams…
) It is a still working on progress. At the 5 Continent Exhibition I will
show some still images from my video art. ( Not yet finished Project, Since
this project is just beginning and it is not my final project)
